Whisper prizes her own safety above all and struggles to trust others, with the notable exception of her chameleon familiar, Crunch. For now, they remain on campus for their own safety, though the outside always beckons.

Despite this, Lyria's siren heritage blessed her with a naturally beautiful singing voice, earning her fame throughout the underwater realms.

Malcolm emphasizes precision over tact and is occasionally too direct with his fellow students. He is also a formidable symphonic composer, though he has long abandoned the pursuit.

The cis female head of Serpentanima House is as talented as she is strict. What she is talented in, however, remains a mystery. Claiming a true Serpentanima is secretive, Danaee keeps her schoolwork to herself.

When she interacts with her fellow students, it is primarily through providing them with demerits. Though her hair snakes are harmless, Danaee is nevertheless rumored to have a gaze powerful enough to make her colleagues wish they were stone.

A genderqueer human (he/they) in his late twenties, Ivar has a powerful build due to his warrior background. Previously attributing their ferromancy to luck and skill, he recently became aware of his magical gifts.

As the professor of zoomancy, scrying, and hatch sealing, Professor Alessi is known for using animals as spies and allies in locating and sealing hatches. Alessi resents the sport of scellis, viewing it as trivializing the threat of hatches.

A champion athlete and druid, Finnean is beloved by many and known by few. Deeply missing the connection of his home grove, he keeps his fellow Leocorpus at an emotional distance with jokes and winning smiles.

Accustomed to getting her own way, Carmina despises the rules of academic life, and is constantly butting heads with her professors.

A gruff ovinian man known for both his ill temper and his love of mapmaking. His use of terramancy to sense the features of the surrounding terrain, combined with his natural artistic ability, makes the maps he draws both precise and beautiful.
