While Rose’s focus continues to be guiding lost souls forward, she now lingers to nurture the bonds that tie them together. In doing so, she searches for a future shaped by love rather than loss.

A cis female siren, this alternate, fiery version of Lyria Maris is adopted on stage for her new album tour. As Lyria Ignis, she channels vocal magic into a spectacle of volcanic acoustics, and heat-light choreography.

Confident and theatrical, Lyria has a molten swagger: ember-threaded gowns, an obsidian mic stand, and ashfall curtains that glow with her high notes. Meticulous behind the scenes, she collaborates with glasswrights and ventwrights to tune pressure and sound like instruments.

A cis female leonian, Whisper's latest heist began with a locked case in the Wakehollow archives said to hold a collection of enchanted feathers. Each plume was taken from a spirit of air. Whisper stole them all, and ever since, they've refused to leave her side.

She has adapted the relics into her craft, calling forth spectral daggers that burst into feathers mid-flight before reforming in her grip. Crunch, her chameleon familiar, has learned to hide among the drifting plumes.

A cis female student, Nyra carries a lyre that was carved from the bones of the dead. She is a masterful sonomancer — yet instead of healing with harmonies, her lyre causes dread and anger with every haunting note.

Fellow students are initially drawn to her. A sultry voice, with a chilling edge. Once a part of Anais, her negative emotions were sapped and collected during a moment of doubt. From that fracture arose Nyra: calculated, charming, and utterly ruthless in her manipulations.

A soft-spoken half-fae man with an impeccable memory for geography—and a disquieting air of someone not entirely present. Caelan vanished during a solo investigation of a hatch, presumed dead. Weeks later, he reappeared at Wakehollow with no explanation...and no pulse.

The tall, light-skinned non-binary student with a side shave and white locs, Robin carries a deck of cards showing their favorite suit, Hearts. Confident and friendly, Robin aspires to bring out the best in their peers.

A talented cartomancer and infuser, Robin uses a magical deck of cards they created themself to enact various magical effects particular to each suit. They are also skilled at close-up magic and sleight of hand.

The cis female Serpentanima has a red and gold minidress with bell sleeves, jade earrings, and knee-high boots. Her black hair is tied up in two buns. Lianfeng is a talented necromancer with the ability to speak with animals, but her true strength is in summoning.

Unique among her summoner peers, Lianfeng (or Anne, for short) summons only her oldest friend – the snake, Hisstopher, who she infuses with various elemental powers.

The artistic cis female has blue hair, shorts, a crop top, braids, and an assortment of tattoos on her face, arms, chest and legs. A gifted runecrafter and tattoo artist, Rowena specializes in designing and implementing tattoos that focus the bearer’s innate magical abilities.

Responsible and quiet, Rowena has always acted like more of an older sister than a twin. Without her brother to look after, she is on an overdue mission of self-discovery.

Believed dead for the last twenty years, this ghostly cis female Serpentanima student has just escaped from her very own soul trapping lantern. Now returned to the world of the living, the spectral student has resumed her studies of necromancy, history, and spirit calling.

Whisper prizes her own safety above all and struggles to trust others, with the notable exception of her chameleon familiar, Crunch. For now, they remain on campus for their own safety, though the outside always beckons.

Despite this, Lyria's siren heritage blessed her with a naturally beautiful singing voice, earning her fame throughout the underwater realms.

Malcolm emphasizes precision over tact and is occasionally too direct with his fellow students. He is also a formidable symphonic composer, though he has long abandoned the pursuit.

The cis female head of Serpentanima House is as talented as she is strict. What she is talented in, however, remains a mystery. Claiming a true Serpentanima is secretive, Danaee keeps her schoolwork to herself.

When she interacts with her fellow students, it is primarily through providing them with demerits. Though her hair snakes are harmless, Danaee is nevertheless rumored to have a gaze powerful enough to make her colleagues wish they were stone.

A genderqueer human (he/they) in his late twenties, Ivar has a powerful build due to his warrior background. Previously attributing their ferromancy to luck and skill, he recently became aware of his magical gifts.

Ivar is just as eager to learn magic from his fellow students as he is to mentor them in the ways of the world. They also have a knack for somatomancy, which until recently they used to heal mid-combat.

As the professor of zoomancy, scrying, and hatch sealing, Professor Alessi is known for using animals as spies and allies in locating and sealing hatches. Alessi resents the sport of scellis, viewing it as trivializing the threat of hatches.

A champion athlete and druid, Finnean is beloved by many and known by few. Deeply missing the connection of his home grove, he keeps his fellow Leocorpus at an emotional distance with jokes and winning smiles.

Accustomed to getting her own way, Carmina despises the rules of academic life, and is constantly butting heads with her professors.

Cassie's thoughtful nature and intellect drew her to the study of bibliomancy, the art of caring for magical tomes. On campus, she can often be found assisting other students in the library or delving deep into discussion about her favorite books.

A gruff half-ovinian man known for both his ill temper and his love of mapmaking. His use of terramancy to sense the features of the surrounding terrain, combined with his natural artistic ability, makes the maps he draws both precise and beautiful.

The only time one might spot a smile on Hector's face is while he's examining one of his own excellent maps. Each one is like one of his children, which may make his dream of opening a map shop difficult to realize.
